In 2019, we created the Heritage Courtyard, a memory garden on the foundation of an old farm shed located near the museum. Memorial bricks were sold to assist in funding and to provide a place to commemorate loved ones. The nearby sweetbay magnolia tree replaces the original eastern redbud tree that was donated by Russ Hoffman in honor of his brother Norman Hoffman, who was a revered teacher and local historian.
Feel free to visit the tranquil setting. We appreciate the volunteer efforts of master gardeners to help to keep our gardens beautiful.
